Let's hear it for quality control. What state are they in?

The only thing more disturbing than this is the thought that there was some idiot standing around watching it for 75 minutes, taking pictures.
Alex Chiu is clearly a nutball with too much time on his hands. But ya gotta admit, that's a pretty compelling proof of gawd as a mathematical formula. I think someone needs to adjust Alex's formula.

Alright, this just has to make you think: were they chasing a meal or something else? And you really gotta wonder about guy #5.
Now this is the new definition of party animal.

So why does Phil the [venereal disease] sore get a pierce but the Health Penis doesn't?

Wow. The BSA goes after Ernie Ball. This guy makes so much sense! Like here:

CNet: So what kind of Linux setup do you have?

SB: You know what, I'm not the IT guy. I make the business decisions.

I want to kiss him! He actually sounds rational! Of course, go figure: he's the #1 manufacturer in the country (or so he claims). But still, how about his take on the myth of service?

CNet: But there's a real argument now about total cost of ownership, once you start adding up service, support, etc.

SB: What support? I'm not making calls to Red Hat; I don't need to. I think that's propaganda...What about the cost of dealing with a virus? We don't have 'em.

This is so absolutely true: when was the last time you called Microsloth for desktop support? It's more painful than the DMV. Altho I will concede that the lack of a browser on every desktop is a daunting thought to me. I think about the hundreds of ways in which HTML is useful. Then I think about the hundreds of ways in which HTML wastes time (like, now, f'rinstance).

Other tasty bits:

SB: It's just software. You have to figure out what you need to do within your organization and then get the right stuff for that.

SB: I thank them for opening my eyes, because I'm definitely money ahead now and I'm definitely just as productive, and I don't have any problems communicating with my customers. So thank you, Microsoft.

And my absolute personal favorite:

SB: We won't do business with someone who treats us poorly.

Brilliant!
